Stressful Doctor's Appt

The doctor ordered a 24 hr urine collection, at home, and a bunch of lab work to look at my Kidneys, liver, white and red blood cell counts, glucose, and protein. She also asked if I was on bed rest, and when I said no she told me to take it easy.

She said that if she was super worried she would send me to the Hospital for a few days to be monitored, but that for right now she just wanted to do the labs to make sure everything was ok. 

I'm a little confused though, because my bp was only 120/80, and that is completely normal for me. It's been my bp the entire pregnancy, and so it's strange how now at 34 weeks, they are wanting to run more tests and are talking about bed rest. And they've upped me to weekly appointments... :-/ She kindof freaked me out.

I had to do this two weeks ago.  I had all the symptoms for HELLP except high blood pressure and swelling.  Everything turned out to be fine for me (actually, another less worrisome issue), hopefully yours will be the same!!!

I've typically had weekly appointments, I kind of like them. I get lots of ultrasounds. = )

I'm sure everything will be fine. Try not to stress out about it to much. Keep us posted.

Try not to worry about it, as it could cause your BP to go up.  Your doctor sounds like they are just dong a really good job of monitoring you.  Keep your chin up momma.
