Thankful Thursday

I know Cherry Starburst usually kicks this off but I didn't see it, so here we go! Other than a happy and healthy family, I'm thankful for DH's place of employment. They have relocated us before and they are doing it again. They take care of us and I'm grateful for that. I'm also thankful for Nature Valley Sweet n Salty bars. Any flavor. So good!

I am thankful that my son is officially sleeping in his crib. I am thankful that I can now have dairy in moderation. I am thankful that my son sleeps in 3-4 hour increments.(yes I am actually thankful for this because he is not a sleeper)

i am thankful for continuous employment. i can't imagine being worried about jobs & money 24/7. i'd lose my mind.

i'm thankful for my well rounded girls. they kick ass.

I am immensely thankful that all of the snow has finally melted, the grass is finally starting to turn green, and I wore sandals for a walk this week.

I am thankful for my sweet boy who constantly says "Mommy, I love you sooooo much." and for my sweet baby whose smiles never fail to brighten my day.

Also, Dr. Pepper who makes sure I don't fall asleep at my desk with drool seeping into my keyboard.

I am thankful my retina isn't detached or in the process of detaching.  I was told by three different doctors yesterday that was happening to me.  I got an emergency appointment with an optomologist and he confirmed that isn't the case.  I will be even more thankful once I finish up with the tests they are performing tomorrow and the optomologist can figure out what's wrong and correct it.

I'm thankful for Super Why on PBS. I was able to eat breakfast and shower this morning by myself. It's going to be a good day.

I'm super thankful for Easter candy, especially Peeps.  Stale Peeps, if we're being specific.

Also thankful for my DD who has started to tell me she loves me, without being prompted!!!

I am thankful for a steady job, I will have been here 3 years tomorrow, I just got promoted and I'm still loving it!

I am thankful for a healthy baby boy, almost 9 months and he has never been sick *knock on wood*!

I'm thankful that my son isn't wheezing anymore and doesn't need the nebulizer treatments anymore. I'm also thankful that his little bottom wasn't as red and sore looking as it was last night. Yay for diaper cream. I blame the parent's choice wipes that I had bought and had the sitter using. Poor little peanut started crying and screaming in order to keep me from cleaning his bottom last night, because it was so sore.

While I am always thankful for my happy and healthy family, today I am especially thankful for my super-confident Lauren.  I am so in awe of her can do, fearless attitude.  I learn from her every day.

I am thankful for working for a great company and having a steady job that I don't need to worry about folding.  

I am thankful that my boys get along so well.  My oldest is smitten with his little brother, and that makes me so happy.

I am thankful that DH is 1 year away from completing dental school.  Living on a meger salary has been rough, and I look forward to him working soon!

I am thankful that we found a sitter for my oldest this summer.  I was seriously stressing about it.

I'm thankful DD ended up not having an ear infection and that I have a pedi that always gets you in the day you call and it's never a very long wait and he never makes me feel stupid for bringing her in.

I am thankful for Coffee in the morning. I don't even think I drink it to wake me up anymore. I just drink it for taste.

I am thankful for an understanding H. I told him how I felt about him being gone out of the house and working on his motorcycle lately and he put all that aside last night and we spent the evening together. He helped cook dinner, clean up, then we took M to the park, got snow cones, then sat at home and watched a movie.

I'm thankful that I'm able to stay home with my daughter! There are times I wish I worked for adult interaction, but that's what friends and play dates are for.

I second both of these. Except a little treat usually turns into a whole bag of fun-size candy bars. Oops.

I am thankful Gavin is taking naps in his crib without needing someone to hold him. I've gotten part of my day back where I can shower in peace and do stuff around the house as he sleeps.

 I'm thankful for my wonderful husband, my beautiful children. I'm thankful that I have a floater in my office today,( I can bump today) and when I checked my direct deposit this a.m. It was a three week pay period. Momma gets a new pair of shoes

I'm thankful for my loving DH.  I was sicker than sick yesterday and when he came home from school he took care of Joy so I could rest.   He even took her to the weightlifting class that he teaches so I could take a nap.
