AW: Gave my notice at work yesterday!!

I was dreading it because I work for a very small company (6 people total) and we are at a pretty critical time right now where my role is pretty important.  The only person I really like here is my boss so I didn't know how things would go over.  She was so upset because I'm the only person that keeps her sane here too...she started to cry because she didn't know how she would make it without me   I felt terrible but am happy its out there now and I don't have to keep hiding it!

So if things continue to go well with my pregnancy, I'll work until the end of May and then instead of taking maternity leave, I'll just leave!  Plus we are moving to Portland a few weeks after I deliver so that should be interesting!!

i know what a great feeling that is. sounds kinda like when i quit, my boss started crying too... i didn't realize i was that important to her lol

yay! congrats! I gave notice to my boss yesterday, got the paperwork signed and I will be submitting everything to HR tomorrow.

June 3rd will be my last day before FMLA..woohooo
