D never liked tummy time. I didn't believe everyone who said their kid liked to be on his tummy once he could roll there himself. I was convinced D would never like it.

Cue D rolling onto his stomach about two weeks ago. Now we can't keep him off of it. I put him on his back and he rolls onto his stomach almost immediately.

There's hope for all those tummy time haters!

This is us too. He would just lay there and scream/bang his head on the floor. Last week he decided to start rolling and now he loves being on his tummy and we can't keep him in one spot. It was literally an overnight change!

Thank you for posting that.  At 4 1/2 months my daughter STILL screams like a banshee everytime I put her on her belly.  Every.single.time.  I'm convinced she is never going to roll or crawl due to her hatred of this dreaded belly time.

She can roll on to her tummy, but I am still waiting for her to like it. She rolls on to her tummy, and then forgets that she knows how to roll back and gets really pissed off.

She'll get there. And I agree with PP that it was literally overnight. Babies are so weird! LOL!

And he was still screaming 2 weeks ago, so just keep trying!

Mine hated TT as well. They would lay there and scream into the floor. Now they roll all over the place. See a toy they want -- roll to go get it. I can't take my eyes off them.

DS still hates tummy time he rolls to his tummy but immediately rolls back over to his back. He only goes to his tummy to roll more to get somewhere.

DD still doesn't roll much (she rolled twice but never since) - but she stopped hating tummy time at about 4 1/2 months.  Prior to that, she absolutely hated it.
