Sorry for the very 3-6 question.
Alex is rolling around in his crib like it's the floor exercises event at the Olympics.
He
will roll onto his tummy, but last night he did and finally calmed down
and started to fall asleep--- but his face was pretty much smushed into
the mattress, or barely to the side. This of course made me nervous so I waited to see if he
would move it to the side and finally went up to try to move it. He has
great head control and all, but...
FAIL. Woke him up he got pissed ended up having to feed him 20 minutes later.
What do you do in that case... and do they get better at it?
Re: XP: Tummy sleep question
Let him sleep however he falls asleep as long as blankets and stuff aren't in the crib. Playing flip the baby/reposition the baby is a game you will always loose. I know, I tried to play lots when DD first starting rolling over, I lost every time :-)
If he can get himself into the position he can get out of it. Once he falls asleep you can sit and watch for awhile...that helped me feel better because I would see that eventually she would turn her head when she wanted/needed to.
