First Dr Appt today...

So, had my first dr appt today...they confirmed I am pregnant so I don't have to worry about that anymore lol....they are doing blood work to check levels and such...she did a transvaginal ultrasound bc my LMP puts me around 7 weeks, however she said I have a mild form of PCOS, which makes sense because I've never had normal periods or ovulation...ovulation jumps around if it even happens...anyways, the u/s showed a sac and something growing in it, but she said it is either too early to tell or its an abnormal pregnancy. She wants me back in 2 weeks for another u/s. she said she can't go by my LMP because of the PCOS and ovulation issues.. I'm not too worried because I didn't think I was as far along as the calculators were saying. My last LMP was 2/18/11...I took a two hpt one on 3/18/11 and another a few days later and they were negative...I then bought two more tests the week after that and took them and both were negative again. I decided I was probably just going back to irregular but when I still didn't have one last week, I took one on Sunday night and it was positive and another Monday morning that was positive....so I'm pretty sure I ovulated later than "normal" and am barely pregnant...I'm not sure if they'll call with my results from the blood work today so I'll probably call Friday just to check. Another reason I didn't think I was as far along was the fact that I'm just now feeling changes in my breasts....anyways, just wanted to share and see if anyone else is experiencing something similar or had any thoughts.... Thanks in advance and hope everyone is having a spectacular day! **I should have mentioned, she couldn't give me an EDD because she said although she was zoomed way in on the u/s, it wasn't letting her measure it because the sac and what we could see inside was too small...Hope this all makes sense!!

My last period was February, and I believe it was the 18th. However, it's always been irregular - so I just tested last weekend as well. Today I had an appointment, but it was nurse intake. Definitely pregnant with their test... had blood drawn, got asked questions, and scheduled for a real appointment next Friday. I'm hoping that they'll do an U/S so that I know if I'm really as far along as my LMP leads us to believe.

 

So I'm in the same boat.

Because we were a week behind the doctor did not see anything but a sac on my first ultrasound (6 weeks). However, when I started to get nervous? asking if everything was alright, he put my mind at east by saying, ?Everything has to start somewhere.? View it as a starting point and T&P everything will be fine with your levels etc. Stress is the worst part about it all because you know it?s not good for you or the baby and yet it?s impossible to do without. This whole first trimester is a nerve wrecking process.

Thank you ladies...I'm glad I have you all to talk to!! We haven't told anyone yet and I'm not sure he understands what I'm feeling although he tries....I do not like waiting so this is torture...meanwhile, I'm trying to keep my mind off of it and not panic at every little pain I feel LOL I already did our grocery shopping this morning and put it all away...I have a feeling our house is going to be extremely clean until April 25th (my next appt)!!!
