Need to share with someone U/S PIP

I had my first appnt today. We are waiting until Easter to tell our families about the pregnancy, and I really need to share my news with someone! It makes me happy to see everyone's positive and happy updates, so I hope you don't mind reading mine.

It went really well. I had an external u/s first and then a vaginal one to get better pics. We got to see the heartbeat, but we did not get to hear it. Heartbeat was 176 bpm. The baby moved a little while we were watching. It was so surreal to actually see that something is in there! Based on my last cycle, I thought I was about 8w1d. The baby measured 8w5d!

I am so relieved that everything looks great so far and I am looking forward to getting to tell our families. This will be the first grandchild for both our parents.

Congratulations!! We are waiting to share the news with my husbands whole family since we will be with them on Easter...so I understand wanting to share it with someone. I hope this pregnancy is nice and smooth for you

Congrats on a great appointment! I had mine today as well and I got to see the hb! They said it was at 146bpm. Very cool experiance.

Congratulations!!!!!

We couldnt wait. We told close family and friends around 5 weeks.We have 3 more weeks until our 1st u/s. I am really looking forward to seeing and hearing the heartbeat.
