1) Camden Michael
2) Caison James
3) Camden Elliott
4) Carter William
All the middle names are family names, so we'd like to keep those, if possible.
Camden is the only first name that has significance to us- it's a tribute to my mom who passed away from cancer in 2007. It has to do with England, NOT the city in NJ (that we live no where near, by the way, lol).
Re: Our final 4 names. Opinions please!
Camden Elliott
ETA: PS, Chelsea is my #1 girl name but I can't think of a mn for it...
My vote goes to Carter William.
I like your reasoning behind wanting to use Camden, but I do live near the city, so I only have that association. That being said, Camden isn't my style, but it isn't horrible. If you're tempted to go with it, I would use Camden Elliott.
My middle name is Elise.
You could also do..
Chelsea Noelle
Chelsea Mae
Chelsea Marie
Chelsea Elizabeth
Chelsea Isabelle
1) Camden Michael - I like this.
2) Caison James - Awful, gag, throw it out.
3) Camden Elliott - I like this better than Michael. Michael is a predictable mn on a boy.
4) Carter William - It's alright.
Favorite: Camden Elliot. It sounds the best and I think it would win even if there was no family significance. The significance thing is great and pushes it over.

Seriously, I wanted to throw out Caison really bad, lol. My husband was really set on it though, and so it's growing on me now (the more I think about it) so I let him keep it on the list. It's close to getting thrown out though, trust me. I just can't fall in love with it..although I do like it.
Michael is extremely predictable as a mn for a boy, I know, and I hate that fact.
But, it's my dads name and this will be the first boy grandchild born in my family so we kind of wanted to use his name somehow. But we don't have to..Elliott is my husbands grandfathers name, so that one has family significance too.
Carter William by far! Nice, strong name.
Really dislike Caison and Camden. They don't age well IMO.
Being a couple of Kristin and Jayson, I always call Caison or Kayson or whatever spelling variation... our celebrity couple name.
Like Brangelina. I can't stand the name.
There's a very nice community where I grew up called Camden. It's not my favorite name ever, but it's not terrible.
Of your names I pick Camden or Carter, in no particular order. James, Elliott and Michael are all great MNs.

Carter William
My vote goes to Carter William. You could actually use any of your MN with that FN too.
I'm not a fan of Camden, but if it has a significance to you, than use it.
Camden Elliott

My other baby is still a baby! Baby Boy 11-30-11
Carter William. It is two names that I really like (both were on my boy list) and sounds really nice.
I'm not a fan of Caison or Camden.
Fwiw, YOU might not have a bad association with Camden, NJ, but if your son decides to move to the east coast (particularly the DC to NYC corridor) everyone he meets will have a bad association with the name. It isn't just a "bad town". It has the highest crime rate in the entire USA. REALLY bad. REALLY bad connontation for most east coasters.

1st choice would be Camden Elliott and then Camden William
I love Camden. Don't let all those opinionated East coasters talk you out of it! I think I like Michael a bit better with it. Caison is really bad. It sounds made up.
Ditto that, 100%. I live in WI. The city in NJ was my first thought.
Go with Carter, spare your kid a possible strike against him on a job app before he even gets to the interview.

I'm curious as to whether or not you'd pronounce Caison as "Kyson or Kayson"?? I like the name pronounced as Kayson, but I would spell it as Cayson or Cason not Caison because Caison looks like it should be pronounced Kyson....
However, my favorite is Camden Elliott. The cutest little boy at a daycare I worked at was named Camden and I love that name for a little boy.
Pronounced "kay-son" ...I'm extremely flexible on the spelling. I think I like Cayson instead of Caison.
i'm not a fan of caison.
my favorite would be carter william. i also think camden is nice (both your mn choices work).
That's what I thought but I wasn't sure with the spelling :-) I vote either Camden or Cayson. There was also a little boy at the same daycare named Cayson too but that is the only Cayson I've known. I like both.
Caison reminds me of Casein - the ingredient in dairy products that so many are allergic to. If he's ever diagnosed with milk allergies or gluten allergies, you may all regret the name - him included.
I like Camden Elliott (for your wonderful backstory) and Carter William.
