"morning" sickness!

Any other ladies feel this junk getting worse?!  I am almost 9 weeks with Twins, and so far have been pretty queazy all day long, and food sounds GROSS...but I had avoided throwing up...UNTIL yesterday.  Now I can't keep anything down!  ARGHHH.  I just want to be healthy for these babies, and not get dehydrated.  I can't even stomach crackers.  Who's with me?!?

  • I'm there... forcing myself to eat about every 1.5 hours seems to help.  I am grossed out by the thought of food, but I'm chocking it down.

  • I have had really good days and really bad days. I had a great week last week but now I am feeling like crap again. I typically feel nauseous all the time. It's horrible I can relate. Just know that it should get better by week 14 at least that is what I keep telling myself.

    Feel better!

  • I'm right there with ya.  Last Friday my queasiness took on a whole new tone and it's all gone downhill since.  Yesterday I finally called my doc for some help - I was taking phenargan and it started to make me sick just to take the pill - so they gave me zofran.  It helped.  Like you, I am worried about not getting enough nutrition or water for these twins.  I also am not even remotely worried about basic nutrition right now, if it doesn't sound good and I "choke it down" - it will come back up.  So if all that "sounds good" is ice cream, well, some calories are better than none.  Interestingly enough, the nurse I talked to yesterday told me to back off water - she literally said "it's too thick" and to work, instead, on things like gatorade, sprite/7up, and chicken broth.  I can definitely say, water was making me gag but I don't like getting so many calories from fluids.  Whatever, I need to stay hydrated...
