We like the name jason...FI wants jayson and I want jason....WDYT
P.s. ignore the name badge in my sig, its wrong, but ny ticker is right...I'm 41w and still waiting!
I like Jason, but I like more traditional/classic names. Coming from a teacher's point of view, your kid won't have to correct everyone's spelling (on party invites, at school etc.) if it's the more common spelling.
Personally, I'm partial to Jayson. It's DH's name... y and all.
I don't find this one to fall into the Y fad for some reason. Perhaps because it is Jay and son, so to some it's a legitimate name. Son of Jay. I dunno, this y doesn't bother me like Eryk or Robyrt.
Jason. I knew a guy in high school whose parents STILL disagreed on how the poor kid's name should be spelled. His birth certificate said "Jason" but his dad would send in stuff with "Jaeson" on it and he hated it. I digress. Make the spelling as easy on the kid and people around him as possible.
