Shooting pain.. should i be alarmed?

I just got a shooting pain on my left side by my belly... came out of no where, but is a pretty strong cramping feeling... should i worry, or could this still just be normal stretching?? Any thoughts?

Its about the area that I hurt at when i used to get ruptured cysts... not sure what to think... 

Just had a doc apt this morning and all was good... do I call?

Wish I could help. I just wanted to say that I'm sure everythiing is alright. I'm sure it is if you just had your appointment today. Could it be a spasm from your appointment today??? It doesnt hurt to call the doctor. Thats why they are there. Good luck

Well I have gotten a few sharp pains like this in the last few weeks. They are usually when I have been sitting a while and go to get up. I asked a few friends that are/were pregnant recently and they attribute the pains to your uterus and everything stretching. If you feel like these are unbearable or you are worried please dont hesitate to call your doctor!
