Baby Dropping (2nd Time Moms)

Sorry if this gets asked all the time.  I looked back through the last few pages and couldn't find an answer.  Have any of you 2nd time Moms had the baby drop?  We were talking about it this weekend and I couldn't fit a hand in between by boobs and my baby bump.  I had tons of contractions last night (which is not very unusual for me) and this morning the baby is much much lower.  I can fit both my hands in between my boobs and baby bump and I feel tons of pressure.  I think with my DS he dropped about 3 weeks before I had him at 37 weeks.  Everything I am reading says your 2nd baby does not drop.  I have a doc apt on Friday and will ask then, but wondering if anyone else had the same experience.

When I saw the title of the post I thought you were asking if 2nd time moms have ever dropped their baby ... Anyway I haven't dropped yet with this pregnancy, but I'm also almost 3 weeks behind you, but I did drop earlier with baby #2 than baby #1, I think my muscles just gave up!

This baby has been down low for weeks. I guess there's a chance she could move around, but right now she's head down and ready for her exit!

She was so low that I was getting worried, especially since my BH contrax are picking up and getting painful, but I went to L&D last week and I'm still closed up!

When they tried to get her on the monitor the nurse couldn't believe how low she was.. the heart monitor was basically in my crotch, haha. Like the PP, I think my muscles are giving up. 3 babies in 5 years will do that to you, I guess!

Thanks!  I'm still laughing and the dropping the baby comment.  I'm not sure what my books are talking about with baby #2 not dropping.  I asked my SIL, but they couldn't remember if the 2nd baby dropped or not.  Glad to hear that it seems normal.  I agree my lower stomach muscles are still pretty much gone from having my DS.

This baby is still not as low as my first was, but she's definitely moved down. I remember looking at my belly in 2nd tri and being astonished by how high she was!

I am pretty sure that my baby dropped over the weekend.  My stomach just doesnt look as high as it used too and things feel different too.

Now DS was born via emergency c-section at 34 weeks and had never dropped.  So I naturally freaked out thinking it was way too soon for this baby to drop.
