  • I started at 7 months.

  • I think my DS tried it at 6 months but didn't like it.
  • This is what wholesomebabyfood.com says:

This digestibility makes yogurt (and even cheese) "ok" for babies 8 months of age and older. Many pediatricians will say that yogurt is fine for babies 6 months of age as well.?

    ?

We haven't started yogurt yet. ?But plan on doing the non-baby stoneyfield. ?I think they add some things to the yobaby and its more expensive.?

  • Good to hear about the regular stoneyfield.  The yobaby was $4.19 for 6!

  • I'm not sure when they started, but younger brother loved yogurt and my parents gave it to him as a baby all the time. There was no such thing as special baby yogurt in the late 70s.

  • We have given dd both regular Stoneyfield and Trader Joe's organic whole milk plain yogurt. We just mix in some 100% fruit puree. She likes it, but doesn't love it.

  • actually my dd loved the plain stonybrook yogurt with mashed bananas mixed into it... but I had a hard time finding it in whole and not lowfat.  So we used yobaby a lot.  It just has some pureed fruit or fruit juice ... some have some spices in it too.  My husband loved the yobaby too much though.  stinker kept stealing it!  rrrr. lol
  • We started the plain, whole fat Stonyfield at 6 months. Yogurt is probably DDs most favorite thing in the world!

  • I also just give ds the plain stonyfield whole milk yogurt. It's hard to find sometimes but if you can it's way cheaper. I mix in fruit purees, mashed bananas, vanilla, spices, applesauce, whatever floats my boat that day. The YoBaby that I've seen has added sugar.

  • We started at about 8 mos., and DS loved it (still does).  I recently switched to Trader Joe's whole milk yogurt -- the nutritionals are about the same, it is cheaper, and the milk used is rSBT free.
