So very worried :(

Im 8 weeks today and have to say that I'm so very worried. My first appt is on Monday and in the past few days, I actually feel "normal". Not tired anymore, No more cervical mucus and today it seems that my bb's have deflated. They were fine yesterday(full and slightly hard) and this morning seems they are not as hard.

I havent had any spotting, etc. At times I feel a cramp but other than that-nothing. I called DH at work today telling him how worried I am, and he thinks its just in inactive day. I think otherwise. Im so scared that when I go to OB Monday, shes not going to find a heartbeat.

Opinions??? Did anyone else have a loss of symptoms for a few days? Help ladies, Im so scared. We've dealt with Infertility for almost 2 years and if this is a loss, we will not continue TTC. I really dont want anything to be wrong. basically this baby is our "last ditch effort" :(

  • I think it is very normal to have symptom-less days.  Actually, right around 8 weeks is when I started to stop having horrible nausea and I actually regained more energy for a few days at a time!  And my bbs never grew and were barely sore at all!  Now I only seem to have nausea once every few days and it isn't nearly as bad.  Good luck at your dr appt on Monday! Are you still going to tri state? T&Ps that this baby is just easing up a little on your symptoms and is still growing strong and healthy in there! :)

  • I've definitely gone through a day here and there with no symptoms and around the 8 week mark, it went to probably twice a week. If you are really concerned, maybe you could call the doctor's office and they could get you in for peace of mind?

  • My only advice is to just relax... I know it's hard and I know that, after TTC for so long, hope seems to go when you're worried about the "what ifs". Chances are, you're just having a good day and your symptoms may be easing up a bit. Try not to over analyze.

  • Don't worry! Don't stress yourself out :) Stress is the enemy. I'm sure it's totally normal. I've experienced symptom free days as well. Maybe do something to take your mind off it?

  • Cort711...yes, still doing to Tri-State. Only because I left Premier a few years ago and feel very ackward going back. I did call the office and explained my concerns for them not doing u/s at 9 weeks after IF and they stated that they would do it and it is protocol with IF treatments. WTHeck??? but whatever.

Appt is Monday and I'm already writing my list of questions for them. Just very worried. Pray for me. Hope things are going great with you :)

  • Very normal - I just got back from my 1st OB appt and the dr said that's very normal.  Some days I'm really tired, and others I have lots of energy.  My boobs also fluxuate - sometimes they are really sore and hard, other days, they seem to shrink and dont bother me at all.

GL and try not to worry too much - I know it's hard and days I don't feel anything I get worried too.

  • This is my second pregnancy and its so different than my first. I'm on the symptom roller coaster with this LO. M/S hit me hard around 6 weeks. Since then, every week I'd have most days with m/s and then a day or two without it and feeling good. Today, my boobs are still big but they are no where near as sore as they have been. Yes, women do experience this. GL, I hope you get to hear/see your baby's heart beat soon!

  • My symptoms started easing up a LOT around 8 weeks, and I didn't even have many to begin with... I went and got an ultrasound expecting the worst, and they found TWO heartbeats.

Symptoms don't really mean anything! Good luck, and take it easy.

  • I'm 8 weeks as well and am actually feeling the same way. This past week was miserable on the nausea front, and before that, the fatigue was pretty much unbearable. Now all of a sudden I'm feeling closer to normal and can't help but feel worried...so good to hear that others have gone through this and everything turned out fine! Kinda weird that it seems to happen for a lot of people right at 8 weeks though.
