aka daddy/daughter dance. She had sooo much fun! The entire day was all about the dance and what she was going to wear, how to do her hair, etc. I couldn't help but think, "omg...it won't be long before we are doing this for the real prom!" I didn't get many photos inside because I was trying to keep C from destroying the place, but it was so cute. They had a grand march where they introduced themselves and their dads.
She picked out her outfit herself.
And she was very excited when she saw her friends arrive.
Her and her date.
And these two are her bff's.
Re: PIP of R from the Butterfly Ball
She is too cute! And i do the same thing; imagine DD 13-15 years later especialy when she is doing something "grown-up".
And her taller friend totally looks like she has a prom hairstyle!
Oh, some of the girls' outfits were insane. I'm talking about prom dresses, professionally styled hair, makeup, high heels. I complimented one girl on her dress and the dad said, "We just flew it in from Chandler, AZ this morning." Oooookay.
I personally thought R's Target dress and my attempt at an up-do was very age appropriate. I should have take a photo of the back of her hair because I thought it was so cute. It was kind of a loose, messy bun?
Adorable! And she has some super cute friends.
I get a little teary about these dances - I just love to see dads so involved and taking the time to spend these moments with their daughters.
She's so beautiful M. When did I our baby girls become so grown up?!
Where did you get her shoes? M has a gold pair sort of like those, but with a strap on the top that I got on clearance at Target last year but they fit wonky, so she won't wear them.
Thank you, girls! Yes, it was so sweet how excited the both were when they got home. They had a really good time.
camrude - The shoes are from Target, of course! They have them there now. They actually fit her very well and she usually has problems with those types of shoes hurting the back of her heel.
Very adorable. Love her outfit.
Um, where in Chandler would they get it from? It's not Rodeo Drive or anything! LOL
She is ADORABLE!
