I thought I saw a post on this name recently and have tried going back to find it, but couldn't (so, sorry if this is an annoying repeat).  What are your thoughts on Vera?  DS is Owen, we like short and to the point names that are easy to spell and pronounce, and we don't like super popular/hear them everyday names.  Our last name is 3 syllables, starts with F and is Polish.

It was my great-grandmothers name and one of the only names I like from my heritage I think it is a beautiful and uncommon name (but not too out there).

I love it!! I knew a young lady named Vera May and she was just the sweetest woman. I think she helped me like the name, although I would anyhow.

It's one of my recent favorites. I love, love it!  It's uncommon, feminine without being cutesy, and has a great meaning. As a bonus, it sounds perfect with big brother Owen.

This is #1 on my list (but #2 on DH's, so I don't know if we'll end up getting to use it).  I posted on it a few weeks ago I think, and got positive responses.
