Last week I posted that a routine u/s detected that I had very low fluid levels. I was told to drink 2 gal. of water over the weekend and return on Monday for another check. Well, they went up, but they are still not in the normal range. (they were at a 7 on Thurs. and a 9 yesterday. Normal is 10-25). My placenta is aging much quicker than it should, which is also concerning. I am not a smoker, but I work around a lot of exhaust and 2nd hand smoke. This seems to be a potential cause for my issues.
Baby girl measured 4.75 lbs last Thursday and was in the 44th%. She is doing great despite this, but I am still a nervous mama over here! She passed her NST yesterday and I have another NST scheduled in a week.
Just wanted to update those of you that were following along Thanks for your continued T&P's.
Re: Update to my low fluid levels post----continued T&P's needed
I had a carboxyhemoglobin test done yesterday to see what my CO2 levels are. This was probably the scariest part of this whole thing because he is really concerned about my work environment. As long as she keeps passing her NST's then they will just keep scheduling me a week out. Right now, my next NST/fluid check is scheduled for Monday.
Oh man, I'll keep my fingers crossed!
I hope you can keep her in there for at least a few more weeks. Keep drinking lots of water!
Scary stuff.
Have they taken you out of work?

This. Hopefully you get to have an inside baby a few more weeks.
ETA: Guess I should have read ALL of the replies. I was just really worried for you. Do you think your doc will say no more work?

They haven't taken me out yet. I'm guessing I'll hear the results of my test at some point today and then I will know more. For now, I've moved my office away from the shop (I work for a heavy equipment dealer, and my office is directly next to the service shop.) and it's helped quite a bit. I guess I've gotten used to the smells of this place. When I was pregnant with my DS it was the summer so we had the garage doors open. In the winter, that's not really possible so yeah....gross.
drink up girl!
Geez- 2 gallons is a task.com!!! can you get away from that exhaust? maybe wear a mask? i know that would be weird but it may help. T&P's

I was wondering how you were doing. Honestly, it sounds like your babies are doing really well for 33 weeks. It's good that they are monitoring us. We want to keep those babies cooking for as long as possible!! Hang in there, mama!
