Saxton Ate Cereal!

I wanted to wait until 6 months, but he's been more than ready for a bit now.  DH pointed out that gestionaly he'd be 6 months (2 weeks overdue), so went ahead and gave it a shot.

He took right to it!  By the 6th bite, he was opening his mouth.  He sucked every drop off the spoon.  Very, very little dribbled down his chin.

I'm a little sad and a little excited all at once.  He's growing WAY too fast!

I am glad he took to it so well! I hated starting Asher on solids but it was inevitable! He started at 7 months and now can eat just about anything I eat!

Side note: ?Every time I hear about overdue I can't even imagine its possible! ?I guess that's what comes with ds being a month early. ?I wasn't ready yet, but can't imagine 2 weeks late!?

Glad it went so well! DD just had her first ever solids today---avocado. She actually did really well too, and I guess it's just b/c we waited. At any rate, I was surprised how well she took to it also
