I am almost afraid for DH to come home and see what I did today...
Our house has 2 empty bedrooms right beside each other. The one on the left was filled with all this junk, so I just sort of settled on the right one being baby's room. The left one has a nicer shape and the big window is the focal point, where as in the right one, it's a bit more awkwardly laid out and a touch smaller.
In the past few months, DH and I have painted the right one, set the crib up in it, etc. We just are waiting on our dresser and I couldn't decide on blinds and accessories color, so for now it is a relatively blank canvas.
Until this morning, when I decided that I would switch the 2 rooms. I got it all finished, but now all the baby stuff is just sitting in the left room (really ugly brown color on the walls) and the guest room has this lovely cheerful light aqua.
I think i've gone insane. Who in their right mind would completely start from scratch at 32 + weeks? I now have to fill holes, sand and repaint the new room. But at the end of all of this, I still think I will like it better in the end. The new room just feels better.
Haha, thank you for listening, and If you have made it this far, you deserve something delicious. Has anyone else found themselves doing ridiculous things like this?
Re: I'm loosing it. (Long)
I think you'll be happier in the longer run that you switched!
