cloth diapering beginnings

so i am psyched to cloth diaper this baby, and i know i want to do mainly prefolds and covers at home, but i want to try out different other things during my maternity leave so i can find a economically feasible easy alternative for daycare. my questions is this: which of the newborn trial packages will give me the most options? which has the biggest variety of fitteds (as i am leaning towards fitteds with covers for daycare)? am i better off just buying one or two things to try of the ones that look good? should i buy things in the newborn size to try out or infant? would a newborn to infant sampler work better?

lots of questions - just need some ideas from all you pros :-)

  • Modern Diapers will customize a package for you based on your needs!

  • I've heard really good things about the Jillian's trial so definitely look into that.

I also have to second the Modern Diapers rec.  The shipping time and customer service is fantastic!

  • The Modern Diapers one seems like it would be perfect if you want a variety of fitteds to try. Sunshine Diapers has the trial with Kissaluvs fitteds, but I'm pretty sure that you only get that one type of diaper.
