Re: PFS

  • Chinese are more durable and will last longer, I do like my unbleached pf more than the bleached.

  • We bought unbleached at the recommendation of others. They're supposed to be a bit softer. We LOVE ours! Very soft and fluffy Smile

  • I have unbleached Chinese and love them.
  • Chinese are more durable/ longer lasting but rougher. Indian are softer and more absorbent but not as durable. Unbleached are slightly softer than bleached. Indians are always unbleached while chinese can be either.

I've heard the durability thing is a matter of degrees and that most people will never noticed the difference in longevity over the normal life of their diaper.

I personally prefer my unbleached ipf's over the couple of bleached cpf's that I have. Also going to throw out that green mountain diapers have the best prefolds by far - softer and more absorbent plus they're wider and shorter so they fit better without having to fold down the extra length like with normal prefolds.

  • I have bleached chinese. I heard with the unbleached you have to was it in HOT HOT HOT water that most parent don't keep there water heater that hot. Thats is why I have bleached
  • i have both, but i will reach for the unbleached Indian well before the bleached Chinese ones... they are just so much softer.

    But both work well. :)
