June 2011 Moms

price shopping.

i'm off today and tomorrow so i have some extra time on my hands and thought i would look up prices of diapers and such. i don't know what kind of diapers we will be using so i just looked up the first thing i saw. i compared Pampers Swaddlers Dry Max Newborn Size 84 Count. figured i would look these up since they would be the first size we would use.

I little about where i live. small community in michigan closest big town has a wal-mart and another michigan grocer called meijer, that is 25 miles away. i have a costco membership but that is 90 miles away and i won't be running there for diapers.

Amazon has them at $18.78 free standard shipping 3-5 days, free shipping if you belong to Amazon Prime and its a two day shipping, or $3.99 for next day.

or if you are in "subscribe and save" it would cost $13.15 and free shipping.

Diapers.com has them for 24.99 free shipping after you spend $49+, or $23.49 with and e-coupon same shipping.

Walmart.com  has them for $18.78 free standard shipping

Target.com  couldn't find the same size package only smaller ones but i priced it out and they would come out to $24.99 free shipping after you spend $50+.

Has anyone else looked into these options and if so what have you decided?

Re: price shopping.

  • The Amazon route seems like a no brainer to me. Cheapest price per diaper, and they ship to your door in 2 days.

  • Amazon. First, sign up for Amazon Mom and then sign up for subscribe and save. I set my reorder for 3 months and cancel it once I receive my diapers.
