moms of 2+-monitors?

My son's room is right next to ours, so we don't use a monitor at night anymore, but we do use it for naps & before we go to bed for the night, because we're usually in the gameroom (2 floors below and kind of noisy with the AC/heater running right next to the gameroom)  We have to use one in his room, or we definitely wouldn't hear him down there.

But, we obviously will need one for the new baby, too....so I worry about interference.  We have a FP sights & sounds monitor right now, which is just ok, but we do get feedback/static on it a lot.  I'm worried that will only get worse if another monitor is on the same floor.  I was hoping to find a system that used 2 different bases in each room, but ran off the same frequency with one receiver (if that makes any sense) but so far, it doesn't seem like anything like that exists.

What are you doing for monitors?

  • I am so glad you asked this because I have been wondering if a monitor like this existed.

  • Wondering this same thing. We too have the FP monitor and notice the horrible interference. I can't imagine how much worse it would be if we just bought another set for the same channel. I'd throw it against the wall for sure.
