I have read the FAQ and it seems Grandma El's gets good reviews. Anyone have a cream they recommend for bad rashes? DS #1 got so bad one time (he was in sposies though) that we needed A&D and Desitin so I want a good cream this time around
I have tried Method, California Baby, CJs, and Grandma El's. NONE of them does the trick on E's rashes when she gets them. That said, we use CJ's during the day off and on as a rash preventative and it's worked very well. We use Method overnight because it's the thickest of the CD safe creams we've found. But, when she gets a bad rash, it's sposies and purple Desitin for us.
Aquaphor is the best cream for clearing up nasty rashes - and fast - but it's not CD safe. If you have fleece liners to protect your diapers, that's what I'd use for a really bad bottom.
Other than that, we just use Grandma El's without any kind of lining in our pocket diapers on DS when his butt is looking red. Things usually clear up in a day or two.
