Has anyone tried weight watchers while bfing? I really want to start doing something about my weight, but I'm nervous about my supply tanking. Any thoughts? recommendations?
I am doing it, and my supply is as strong as ever. They account for nursing moms and give you extra points. Just be sure to use your extra points for nutritious stuff that are good calories (skim milk, veggies, etc.) I've lost 40 pounds since I had my baby 7 weeks ago.

WOW! 40lbs in 7 weeks! I am still pregnant but was planning on doing WW while bfing. I am definately doing it now. I have done WW before and lost 20lbs so I know it works.

I used ww before my wedding and had great success. It helps writing down what you eat. I'm eating grapes for my snack today instead of junk. I was hoping ww could keep me motivated.
i also used WW before my pregnancy and loved it. The weigh tloss is pretty steady with WW-I've lost a pound a week since I started the program again. And I have a super supply of BM!
Yes! I did WW for 3 months to drop the baby weight. I lost about 30 pounds and my supply was fine. Just be sure to use your points all the way and to make sure you are still eating well-rounded and lots of fresh fruits and veggies. GL!
I lost all 24lbs of baby weight within 10 days but I have an extra 1-lbs of pre-pregnancy weight I want to shed. So I have been doing WW for two weeks now and have lost 2.2 lbs in that time.
1lb per week is ideal when BFing although I am sure some women can get away with more. My supply is very strong.
It is very hard for me to keep track of everything I am eating though. I graze a lot...a bite here, a sip there. And when I cook, it is usually from scratch and without a recipe, so that also makes it hard in terms of logging points.
I think if you stick with WW recipes, then it's very easy and it works, even with BFing at the same time. Oh and make sure to eat ALL your points! I get 43 a day and an extra 49 for the week.
