PSA: Great deal on Amazon "puzzle tiles"

This may have been posted before, but the price keeps going down! I ordered some on Saturday for $8 something and they are down to $7.64. They are a great deal.

Alex did the same. I ordered 2 sets and he asked me to order another set for our house and 2 sets for the ILs since they just put down hardwood flooring!!
  • I decided not to get them because there is a choking hazard warning for small parts.

Yeah, I read the reviews and decided against ordering them. I know people always say "Well then supervise LO!" but I don't even want to tempt the chance I look away and he sticks a piece in his mouth.

I'm also extremely paranoid about choking. Like, in an abnormal way. LOL.

They don't break apart as easily as you'd think.  We didn't get them to be a puzzle/play toy right now-we have hard floors, so once he starts crawling we wanted something softer for him.

S did too. I ordered one set while they were 8 something and he was like "only 8 bucks, get some more!" So, our living room now has a huge foam tile rug. Very stylish.

LOL-that is how our basement is going to look pretty soon. He really likes the colors and seems to like rolling on that more than the floor,so I'm glad we got them.

That totally makes sense. I wish we had hardwood! We have carpet so I figure I wouldn't get a lot of use out of these tiles. That's good they don't break apart easily!

I have 2 sets of them and I literally have to use my fingernails to get the pieces out, they are that snug. There is no way Izzy can get those out with her tiny fingers. Just a thought.

Are we FB friends? (I can't even keep up anymore) but I posted a video of Izzy crawling across them. It really is much easier on her knees. and less interaction with dog hair. ;)

Kate can't get the pieces out either.

But, if you are worried, a little bit of masking tape on the back holds all of the pieces in and makes it impossible to get any of the little pieces out.  Also, the smallest piece still is not small at all IMO.

We have carpet, but especially in our basement the floor is just really hard. My IL's have all hardwood though, so we'll bring these up there when we visit.

Mmmmm... that's a good point. My parents have hardwood and a hard basement floor. Maybe I will get these....

I never even thought of LCB's idea to tape the back-that's a great idea and would make it impossible to get the pieces out.
