aaaand...we have a crawler.

Lord help me!

Actually, I'm pretty glad because she no longer screams her fool head off when down on the ground in a fit of outrage and frustration.

Plus, she's been mobile for a few weeks now (could scoot herself everywhere), so it's not like it's new on the baby proofing front.

Of course, she still lays on her back like a turtle on it's shell when she somehow manages to get in that position because she can't roll from back to belly.

  • Yay! Take a pic of her stuck like a turtle.

  • Adorable ! I love it when they start crawling because they get so excited and seem so proud of themselves. Both of my boys started at 6 1/2 months, but it isn't fun when they get into stuff.

I think play yards are the best inventions ever ! Stick out tongue

This x 1000!  DD climbs on the kitchen table and dances.  Wth??

  • Too funny. Charlotte can only roll left from back to belly. Not sure why. She's also only rarely rolled to her back. It's funny to see them skip steps. I bet Jackson loves that she can kind of play with him now. (Or is he annoyed that she's getting into his stuff?)

  • Angela, he loves it!  It's actually pretty funny because they play together really well.  He does get kind of bored pretty quickly and is ready to move on, but he'll play with her a lot.  He did get mad at her yesterday, but I can't remember why - then he kind of pushed her and of course, she toppled over and started screaming.  That's the only incident we've had so far, and he felt awful after it happened - he was crying hard about it and she was totally fine.

and thanks a lot, j*w.  I already had my suspicions that she'd be a little hellion, but thanks for confirming!  ;)

Yup, so true! DD is by far the toughest kid in the family!

  • I'm partially convinced we should have a 3rd, just because she's already so rotten.  I mean, lord help us if she's the baby of the family and the only girl.

Then you could end up with what I got- she is the only girl and a MIDDLE child, lol! Plus she is the first girl born in DH family in 3 generations- that chick is spoiled rotten.

  • How fun!

(I am, however, going to echo all the "second child is hellonwheels" talk.  Mine's insane.)

  • Another in the second is a hellion camp. I'm glad mine's not the only one that climbs on the dining room table to dance.
