onesie during warm weather?

Tomorrow it is going to be 80 degrees in NJ..at least that is what they said the other day...yipee after the winter we had...anyways..during warm weather should we dress them with a onesie underneath? thanks

DS is always hot, so we never layer. If he has a onesie on it's because that's his shirt/outfit for the day.

This. It was 80 here today and we were outside all day. Camden was always in the shade, but his cheeks were red because he was warm. We ended up putting his inflatable tub outside and him in his swim diaper to cool off. After that we let him lay in his play pen with just a diaper.

It was near 80 and humid here today; LO wore only a onesie today! DH is putting her to bed right now and we haven't swaddled her like usual because she is still quite warm. We'll see how this goes...

When DD was younger, she only wore onesies in spring/summer unless we went out or it was bedtime.  Then I put pants on her.

I only put a onesie under something on DS if it's really thin (some of the bubbles I have are like that) and I don't want his diaper to show through.

It was 80F here today so when we went for a long walk with L he just wore a short sleeve onsie and shorts.  He was in his stroller with a blanket protecting him from the sun the whole time, but he was a good temperature and slept the whole 2 hours.

My LO hasn't worn more than a onesie (except maybe socks) outside for about a month. It's really hot here. I plan to have him in just a diaper a lot over the summer.

I was about to say the same thing when I realized we're in the same town! It's so hot here already, so DD is always in a onesie unless we go out. Then it's a cute bubble or sleeveless dress.

We live in Maine and it's been around 50 during the day but we still keep it around 70 inside, if it feels chilly we layer if not he is just in a onsie and as it gets warmer thats probably how he'll stay most of the time.
