NBR: Upper lip darkening

Did anyone develop upper lip darkening after having their baby or anytime in general?  In the past 2 weeks, my upper lip has gotten really dark.  I look like I have a mustache.  I regularly wax so there is no hair.  Concealer and then liquid and powder foundation doesn't cover it.  It's making me really self conscious.  Any tips or advice is greatly appreciated.  Also, if you know of any SUPER good concealer, let me know.  TIA!!

Benefit makes the best concealer, it's called Erase Paste. It's $26 for a little container but a little bit goes a long way and it lasts me about 6 months before I have to get a new one.

it could be a hormonal thing. I got this when I started the pill years back.

THANK GOODNESS (unfortunately for you) that someone else is having the same thing. I'm no help but I definitely have it and I can't have biological children so mine isn't from that. I've had it for over a year and NOTHING I do can cover it. It drives me crazy and I am self concious all the time! It tends to not be as noticeable in the winter (when I'm pale) but when I'm tan, it gets darker. If you find out what it's from, let me know! Good luck!

I have that too.  Unfortunately my right side is a little darker than my left side.  So it looks like I have a lopsided mustache.  Don't have a clue what it's from.  Sorry.

Ugh.  I'm glad I'm not the only one.  I was reading somewhere a list of possible causes - I fit EACH one!  Tanning, recently gave birth, on BC, waxing...  I just don't know why it would all of a sudden appear.  I need to find some remedy.
