Hi Everyone -
wondering if anyone else is or has been in the same boat as me, looking for ideas to improve the situation or a reality check that "it is what it is".
So a few days ago I started having a shooting/boring pain in my lower back on the right side which turns out to be more of a pelvic thing than a lumbar pain. Then on Thursday I tripped over a curb onto a sidewalk and jarred my whole body - awesome.
Now it's Sunday and the pain is severe enough that I hobble around the house. I tried massage therapy on Friday, and it felt great, but didn't improve my mobility.
Now I'm wondering if this is just how it's going to be for the next 4-8 weeks, or if it will improve. I've moved on to icing it every hour, and that does seem to give me minor relief.
I see the dr tomorrow, but looking for ideas/advice/stories.
Thanks ladies!
Re: Posterior Pelvic Pain - making it hard to walk - anyone else?
Have you thought about seeing a chiro? I know a lot of people are suspicious of them, but if you go to your doctor and all s/he can tell you is "you'll feel better when you have the baby", my next stop would be a chiro. Mine has done great things for my back pain and hand tingliness.
If you can get in a pool and stretch (or just hang out in near zero-gravity) that might help, too.

ooh. I like these suggestions. I will be calling a chiro tomorrow, I got a good recommendation last week.
the pool sounds divine!
i vote chiro too! love mine. although at this point, i have a lot of pelvic pain because baby's head is lodged in my pubic bone, and there's nothing he can do about that.
