There was just a thread on one of the other boards (TTGP maybe?) about bad baby names and this one (shockingly) came up. Again. What floored me was that there was a whole group who were like "OMG that is hilarious!". I wanted to ask if they had been living under a rock for their whole lives. Somewhere out there La-a is living with Lemonjellow and Orangello.
And yes, I guess we must see this name every day. And I love how it is NEVER the first person. Always their husband's co-workers kid who is in Kindgarten and knows a 6th grader whose mother has that name.

No more TTC for us. We are done, and at peace, as a family of 4.

I actually had a resident claim they had a patient with this name yesterday. I am trying to be nice at work as this is a new position. It took everything in me to not call her on it!

I am an active TTGP poster and I felt the same. I didn't care enough to point them in the direction of Baby Names. I just shook my head.

There was one woman on TTGP who claimed to actually personally know a La-a! She of course is a teacher. It's alllllways a teacher.
