We drive a Ford F-150 with an extended cab, and it has a half size back seat. We currently have
this carseat. The problem is the car seat extends into the driver side and passenger front seats. It makes it nearly impossible to ride in the front passenger seat (and the back seat is uncomfortable for more than 20 minutes because it is half-sized). This car seat is similar too tall. Is it possible to get a convertible car seat that is shorter but still is safe? Has anyone found a remedy for a similar situation? TIA!
Re: Convertible Car Seat Troubles
How about a Combi Cocorro? They're a smaller, compact seat and will rear-face to 33 pounds. Their forward-facing limit isn't super high, but at least it will save you room rear-facing.
You can also decrease the incline now that the baby is older. We just decreased the recline on our True Fit since we had to put the headrest back on.
Other than it being too big, how do you like it? We have this one but haven't switched yet.
ETA: Ours isn't as cute though. They don't make boy car seats as cute as girls lol
