If you want to prove that you used it, you could just smear it with something that stains, and show them how much he enjoyed eating in it. Blueberries, maybe?

Ehh...I don't think it really matters. I'm sure I'll just throw it on him the next time we see them. It is kind of funny though...I did say they should've gotten a matching one for his daddy. Lol.
