So I never got around to posting pics...the room's been done for a while.  the walls are a dark purple (forgot the actual color's name) - painted maybe a year or more ago - since we didn't want to know what we're having  told him to leave it as is...in person it really looks good!  Just waiting on furniture (which we just picked out last week):
