I'll just answer your question here!
I became a vegetarian because for me, it got to a point where I couldn't eat meat without thinking of the animal. I love animals so much and I often had to think of anything else to get my mind off of it. So eventually I just thought "Why am I even eating it?". You know?
I'm all for the more natural farming techniques (meaning the non factory farming) and try and get my husband to eat those whenever possible. But for me, I still can't even eat those because I'm still thinking "I'm eating an animal".
Re: Nhev
I was the exact same (thinking about the animal as a living being). But it's all a personal decision, you know? I'm not vegan, so I still have eggs and I buy free range too. I just hope I'm making good decisions for the animals as much as I can.
I can usually find good choices, for the most part! I mean, they'll be limited if we go to a steak house or something, but we typically go to places that I know has things I like. But like I said, fast food is limited since most places don't have veggie burgers. (Which is a good thing I guess!)
