When did you move up from Size 1 to 2 (I am talking about the one size dipes, the sizing being the snaps)? I think it's already time to move up! DD's have been leaking the last few days.

Also, how long did they stay in size 2? I am getting worried that they may not last through potty training if she's already moving up a size!

I have only moved up to size 2 on the diapers that she wears at night because we add some inserts.  Otherwise she is still on size 1 for day time use (she's mini though).  You may just need to add an insert, or change the insert, rather than going 'up a size'.  Great thing about those diapers though, is that you can always try it and then go back if it doesn work.  It's not like you need a whole new diaper!

We only use them at night with two inserts (the one size and newborn) and my dd is on size 2.  She is tiny though - 15 pounds and around 25-26 inches.

At five months, we're still at the smallest setting.  I guess it just depends on the child - DD is on the small side.

We started on size 2 somewhere in between 4-5 months. ?We are still on size 2 now.

I don't think it matters too much where you snap them.  Just try it and see what works.  When the rise starts getting too low, unsnap one.

As for outgrowing, it really seems like that as they're growing like weeds those first 6-8 months or so.  When they start crawling and walking, though, they slim down a LOT!  Those chunky thighs disappear and they turn into lean little toddlers.  No worries!

He is 15 lbs and almost 6 months and still on the smallest snaps during the day and on the middle snaps at night since we have 2 inserts.  I think he could be on the second snaps all the time, but it's still working so I'm not changing it yet.

We've been using them for a couple of months and they are on the biggest size. and I doubt he will outgrow them before we potty train

We are still on the 2nd set of snaps, but I'm thinking about going up since they are getting tight around DS's chunky thighs.  We started out on the 2nd set at around 10 lbs and DS is 19 lbs now.

DS was in size 2 around 5-6 months and then size three around 8-9 months, but he's tall and lean from the beginning.  Have you added an extra insert to see if that helps with the leaks?  I now have to add an extra prefold in the diaper at night with both inserts for DS to make it through without leaking, but he nurses all night....

We started using cloth diapers at 5 months so we started on the 2nd snap setting and we're still there. ?We do unsnap them all the way for night though because we double stuff the inserts. ?

?Have you tried a hemp insert? ?They absorb a ton but aren't as bulky. ?They work best with microfiber on top. ??
