Pet Peeves
I am in one of those moods today where I am picking apart everything. And since I am apparently running into ALL of my pet peeves today, I thought I would share if you share back.
- Girls who pluck their eyebrows weird and don't know how to shape them so they end up looking ridiculous.
- Girls who wear too much makeup. And blue eyeshadow. I don't care WHO you are, I don't think blue eyeshadow looks good on anything but fashion photoshoots.
- Nasty fingernails. (shudder) 'Nough said.
- People who walk out of public restrooms without washing their hands AND TOUCHING THE NASTY DOOR HANDLE.
I have more, but I am angry just thinking about those ones. I really hope this day gets better, but I doubt it will. Sigh.

-People that consider Sears "professional" photographers and are not just talking about the fact that they get paid for it.
-Loose straps on car seats
-people that chew with their mouth open - ick!
-people that don't wipe their kid's noses and have snot all over their face all the time!
-This may be unpopular, but I HATE kids that have food all over their face and in their hair and people taking pics of it because they think its cute. I do not find that cute.
Ditto. And even though I have a child, so I somewhat understand, but when you have a child who understand the word NO and they start SCREAMING in the store because you told them No and the parents keep walking around like it's nothing.... That then just agitates my child and makes him cry. LEAVE THE STORE IF YOUR CHILD IS GOING TO THROW A TANTRUM.

This. I have a friend who thinks it's cute to have "dirty" kids... and almost all over her FB pictures are of her kids in diapers with food ALL over them. I personally find it gross. But to each their own...
I have pictures of Remy in his diaper, but that's because it's so damn hot here in Texas already.
- Girls who do the flip flop waddle. Seriously? If you can't walk gracefully in them, DON'T wear them. Ugh! Ditto for tottering gracelessly in high heels.
- Women who talk about how they were in labor for sooo long ie; 60 hours, 80 hours, the longest I've heard was 120 hours. Labor is NOT the painful little contractions you have in the days before. It's the active, painful, make you clench your fists contractions and I have never heard of that going on for more than 30 hours without delivering.
- People who smack their gum and/or chew it with their mouth open.
people who go to the bathroom and don't wash their hands.

people who throw out their child's soiled diaper everywhere but where ti is supposed to go
people who know their clothes size but choose to wear clothes two sizes tooo small! Enough said!
I hate when people name their kid something funky and then get pissed when everyone misspronounces it

Im a big girl and I dress w/o showing all my junk so it pisses me off when I see other women not able to so the same...
people who say they HATE pregnancy I know some have harder pregnancies than others but to out and out say you wish you had a 35week baby is stupid and I want you to go kick rocks.
people who dont watch their kids in public places.

agreed, and for some it doesnt ever happen at all...
I really like this post and I have plenty of pet peeves to share:
-Obese women in spandex (not sexy or cute)
-People who have a sense of entitlement
-People who talk on their cell phones while they are paying for their groceries (or whatever the hell they are buying). It is so GODDAMN rude!!!! The cashier deserves a little bit of respect by having your full attention for the 5 minutes it takes you to pay for your sh!t.
-People who have no business with children (they want to blame other people when something bad happens to their child, yet they weren't responsible enough to watch their own kid in the first place)
-Random people who say to pregnant women "Oh you just wait" instead of encouraging and/or congratulating them. If you can't say anything nice, then shut the hell up.

First, what is a fauxtog?
Second, I like the dirty kid pics! As long as it's obviously not a neglectful dirty, and the kid is cleaned up as soon as the activity is done. Some of my funnest memories were of me getting dirty - it's part of being a kid! I think it's hysterical when DS wears his food (he had a broccoli hat for lunch), but it grosses DH out.
I have a lot of pet peeves. I hate when people complain about another person's personality traits and don't realize that they have the exact same traits. DH can't stand this one guy he used to work with (in a work capacity - he likes him okay on a personal level), and some of the stuff he complains about is stuff he does also.
I hate tailgaters.
I hate when cashiers make horrible small talk. If it isn't obviously forced, it's fine, but when you ask me about the weather 5 times, just stop. You're obviously not even listening to my answer and giving me the same question you gave to the last 30 people.
I hate neighbors who think it's okay to ring the doorbell at 7:00am.
It drives me crazy when the UPS guy knocks, waits 10 seconds, runs back to his truck and takes off when he has a package I need to sign for. What if I was on the toilet or changing a diaper? What if it takes more than 10 seconds to walk across my house? It's not an Olympic sport to make it to the door for the UPS guy, so slow it up! Wait 30 seconds at least, and maybe knock twice?
Finally, I hate when women wear "clown" make up. It is not attractive to have jet black eyebrows that go up to your hair line when you have blond hair, and the bright red stripes of blush are doing nothing to highlight your cheekbones. Also, the thin little lip liner (in a very dark shade) just around the edges of your lips just looks trashy. Sometimes, less is more. DH's aunt is guilty of all of these, and more. So was my high school Spanish teacher (who was a giant, not fat, white, older woman). I loved the lady, but she had a serious love affair with blush.
