I made a diaper!

I used 4 layers of flannel & two extra layers in the 'wet zone'.  I don't have aplix or a snap press, so I used my snappi :)  It fits so nicely.  I <3 it :)

    Wow!!  Did you have a pattern??  I have flannel coming out of the you know what, and I'd love to make some if they're somewhat easy!!  They look great!

    It was pretty easy.  I could copy the pattern I made and send it to you if you like.  I think that they'll fit my DD for a good while, which is nice.  You could always make it longer/wider/whatever if you need to.  If you want it send me a mail

    Beautiful!  You did a very nice job.  Is that elastic I see at the back and legs?  Did you use the RRP pattern?

     

    Keep up the good work, but beware...it's addictive!

    LOL  It is addictive!  I have many cut out and ready to make.  I think I'm going to turn the rest into pockets for more versatility.  They work nice alone, but for overnight it would be nice to have the option to add an insert.

    I didn't use the RRP.  I have a copy of it, but I haven't tried it yet.  I made this one and I just love it.  I discovered the RRP pattern after making this one.  I may still try it, but I just love this one :)

    Oh and yes :)  I used elastic at the back and legs :)  My DD is a super pooper and I need it!  :)  LOL

    If you love your own pattern, don't bother with the RRP.  Stick with what you love!

    Adorable!  I was glad to see that you just used a snappi.  I have a couple that I have made and didn't have any more velcro and thought i would just snappi, but haven't tried it yet.  Glad to see it works.  Great work!

    That looks great!! I know many mamas who prefer that..it gives a great fit for any baby!
