3 hour sugar test SUCKS!!

I haven't eaten anything yet today and I am starving!! Luckily our lab was open on Saturday so I was able to go and take it today instead of having to to work all day and not eat. I go back in an hour for my last draw of blood thankfully. My arms are getting a little sore. I am just looking forward to eat a yummy lunch!! Anyways lets just pray I pass this test!!!!

You were allowed to LEAVE?! I just spent from 7:30-11:30 in the stupid lab :-( Hoping everything goes well this time and that I'm done with these people.

I didn't get to leave either, which is probably a good thing since I passed out 2 times, once in front of another Dr at the practice and once when the nurse had me move to a different room.  Good luck on your results

I get to do mine Monday morning. I'll have to go to the library today to find a good book to keep me occupied. I don't think the clinic has wi-fi

I'm at mine right now too. I'm glad you got to go in on a Saturday. I was hoping you would. Making it through work would have been really hard on you. I have an hour and a half left. I have no veins so they've been taking from my hands so far the first two times....two left! Good thing is I have a great nurse this time! Can't wait to go eat!! Good luck to us both.

Luckily our hospital will let you leave and come back. I am so glad its over and am so thankful I was able to go on a Saturday!! Now I am just praying I pass!! I hope everyone passes their test!! Good luck ladies!

I wasnt allowed to leave either and was there from 7:30 - 11:30. Wait til you see your arms tomorrow - may look a little like a junkie lol.

I got to leave, but I felt so so sick, I stayed and had them keep an eye out on me. I get to find out Wednesday if I passed or not. I hope you did!

I have mine on monday. I got so sick for the first one that I am actually making Dh take the morning off so he can be with DD and drive me to and from.

I did mine on Friday and also had someone drive me to and from the test.  I did the three hour last year (not pregnant) and felt so sick, then nearly passed out when I walked in the house.  I was quite dizzy during the test this time and after eating took a heavy three hour nap.

If you haven't taken your three hour yet, I highly recommend packing a juice drink and protein snack for right after the last draw.  This helped me a lot on the way home to fight the sick and dizzy feelings.

I had my three hour on Friday. It was awful!! But I'm glad it's all over. Now just to wait and find out the results. eek.
