I have posted here before, our frontrunner is Cora. And I really like it (hubby loves it). I'm concerned about all the names ending in an "a". I would like it to have a different ending like an "N" or an "EE" sound, however we just keep coming back to names that end in A. Is it too matchy to have all girl names end in an A?
Julia Rae
Emma Grace
Also, would it be totally crazy to name #3 Grace Juliet?! lol. I love the name Grace (Gracie) and kinda wish I would've saved it for #3 had I known we'd have another girl.
Thanks!!
Re: Girl name for sibs Julia and Emma
I don't think the a ending is a problem as long as the names are different in other ways. Julia and Cora aren't matchy at all. Emma and Cora are a tiny bit matchy (same syllables and ending) but certainly fine because of the different consonants and a very different vowel sound. Emma and Ella = no, Emma and Cora = yes.
I wouldn't use Grace as a fn when it is already a mn. Especially not w/ Juliet ? it looks like you just made #3's name out of #1 and #2.
I think Cora is lovely. Other names that might fit your style (short, sweet, popularity no obstacle):
Nora
Sophie/Sophia
Lily
Lucy
Clara
Laura
