3rd follicle check this morning

Got up at 5AM for my shot, and I can't fall back asleep, but don't have time for the gym.  I have an ultrasound and blood work appointment this morning. I expect to hear back this afternoon that I will trigger either tonight or tomorrow night for a retrieval either Monday or Tuesday.Fingers crossed for triggering tomorrow night - an emergency in a case came up and being there Monday matters a lot to me and my client.  We are hoping for a five day transfer, but we shall see.  A Tuesday retrieval would allow my wife to be there for both the retrieval and the transfer as opposed to just the retrieval. Course, a Saturday transfer would also mean leaving from the *transfer for a long car ride and a wedding, but, hey, that's my life.I will update in this post after my appointment or when I hear back.

    If you leave from retrieval for a long car ride and a wedding, I recommend telling the nurse that you need to be on your feet for a small portion of the evening (you'll take it easy because you need to. Seriously.) and you'd very much like a prescription for a painkiller in case the post retrieval pain is bothering you. I was offered vicodin and I took it for three days because I needed it. I can't imagine having made it to a wedding the same day but I also had a lot more pain than most people do afterward. If you don't need it, awesome. If you do- at least you can get it from a local pharmacy before you head out of town so you're not calling the doctor and having a script faxed to a pharmacy local to the wedding.

    I have no advice, but I wanted to wish you good luck and hopefully you can follow the schedule you want.

    Monday retrieval it is! Timing shimiming, I am psyched. My doctor is happy with all my numbers. Trigger shot at 9PM! Thanks for all of your well-wishes!
