how much weight have you gained so far.

I was just wondering how much weight everyone has gained since they found out they were pregnant.  I had my 24 week appointment today and first of all hate the scale at the Docs but I have gained 12 according to their scale.  I know its all about baby right now, but still feel horrible that I am gaining weight and really dont want to go over what my doc told me.

That doesn't sound bad to me at all for 24 weeks? With DS, I gained 60 pounds. I felt like, even when I tried, I just kept gaining and gaining. But, I didn't exercise much until 3rd tri, so I think that made a difference. 

This pregnancy, I've only gained 1 pound so far. I really watch what I eat and walk at least 40 minutes/day.

Ive gained 13 so far. 

They want me to gain at least 1-2 pound more a week until my due date.

I had my 22 week appointment today. I have gained 12 lbs since I found out I was pregnant. That seems like its right on track to gain the 20-30 lbs by the end. I try not to feel bad about it since its natural and for the baby. Luckily I have a long torso so its not showing too much yet

I've only gained 4lbs so far which is kinda concerning but I've been pretty sick with this pregnancy so I didn't really expect to gain alot.

I guess I am just really scared to go back to the weight I was way before pregnancy.  I think I am just freaking out....I guess its been one of those days.

I'm trying to keep it to 25-30 lbs gain total to be in that recommended "healthy" range (per my doctor). I'm 24w tomorrow, and I've gained 13 lbs. Now to just not gain more than 1 lb per week for the remainder of this pregnancy... that will be the challenge!

Not a single pound.  I'm still down all of what I lost as well.  My doctor's not worried and neither am I.  That's really your test - is your doctor worried about your weight gain?  If s/he's not, then you shouldn't be either.

19 weeks and I've gained 10-12 (hard to say, I lost a few in the beginning and then gained a few back to where I was).  Dr. says I'm doing great, so I'm good with that.

1 lb at 14 weeks.  My BMI starting out was 26, so just barely overweight.  My OB would like me to only gain 15-25 lbs total and I hope to stay within that.  I gained 38 lbs with my first and had gained 6-7 lbs by this point in that pregnancy so I think I am right on track for this one.

I've lost 6 lbs. so far... M/S is awful. I have a good week where I will not get sick at all... and then a week like this one where I don't keep a single thing down for 5 days so the total fluctuates between -2 to -6 lbs.

12 is really good, especially for 24 weeks. I'm 25 and I've gained 15. The basic rule (from what I understand) is 1-5 pounds in first tri and then 1 pound a week after that. So, if you think of 1 pound for the first 13 weeks and then 11 pounds for each week thereafter, you're right on target.

At 17 weeks I've gained 3 lbs. I lost a lot during the food aversion/ms phase, though

Weight gain really depends on a few things...like what your weight was pp. If you were overweight to begin with, your doc prob talked to you about how much weight to gain. Same if you were underweight. I have a petite build standing at about 5'3 and 118 lbs pp. Now I'm at about 122. I'm TRYING to gain weight and am nervous about not getting enough to my LO but the a/s came back good with her weight and my doc isn't worried about mine.

4lbs at 18 weeks... but if it goes like the first time, I'll gain everything in the second half. With DS I gained a total of 32lbs, 27 of which came after 20 weeks.

20 lbs. at 24 weeks. Nobody is concerned and it's not a big deal. It's completely normal for  me, right around where I was at last time too.

as of this morning, 9 lbs (21w3d)  I feel like I have gained 5 of these lbs in the past two weeks.

I'm up about 5 pounds at 20 weeks. I've been running regularly throughout my pregnancy though, so I think that helps.

I lb at my last appt.  I think it's closer to 2 or 3 but maybe not, their scale is usually harsher than mine.  I'm overweight to start though still from my last pregnancy.

1st month of pregnancy 122, now I'm 142. I gained all the weight from 20 weeks on. I was the same (141 according to my chart) at this time with first pregnancy and finished up at 146...hoping I will do the same.

I've lost 24 lbs so far. I guess I'll see if I've gained any back on Tuesday.

This is my first pregnancy, I have gained 16 lbs. Dr isn't worried, just had an appointment Wednesday and she said weight looked good, so I'm not worried.

About 15 lbs so far.  The last couple weeks it's been a steady couple lbs a week.  With twins it's important to gain the most weight in the 1st and 2nd trimester so I'm right on track.

Gained 10 pounds and I'm at 16 weeks.  I keep freaking out thinking I've gained too much too quickly.  It's hard to watch what you eat when your hungry ALL THE TIME!

I've lost 5 lbs....I was a little overweight before pregnancy, so now that I've been eating healthier food and going for a walk every day, I think I'm losing weight in places other than the belly

Me too! Well last time I checked anyways. I'm almost 25 weeks. I've been too scared to get on the scale the last week so I'm not sure if I've gained more. I refuse to step on the scale again until my next ob appt. I can't wait to hear what she has to say about all this weight I've gained... she always has something to say... oh well.

I'm 17 wks and gained 3-4 lbs. I fluctuate.  I run too though, so I'm sure that's keeping the weight off.  As silly as it sounds, I too am nervous about gaining, even though that's what you are "supposed" to do.  It's hard to watch those numbers climb after trying so hard to keep them down. It's all good though, I'm enjoying eating whatever I want for once

Um yeah, 12 is nothing.  Think I'd gained 20 by 20 weeks...enough for everyone and their mom to comment on how huge I am:) No worries, everyone is different, if your dr said you were gaining ok (and that sounds right on) then you are fine! It's 25-35 lbs if you start at a normal weight.

With DD I gained 35 total. I didnt gain in first tri but from 14wks on every month I gained about 7lbs a month..

 

This time I'm down 22lbs and havent gained any back yet.. However I weigh the same right now as I did at 18wks with DD..
