Going to the zoo tomorrow - WWYD?

We're going to the zoo tomorrow (provided it doesn't rain) - yay! I plan on wearing A most of the time, but I know I'll eventually tire out. So my question is, should we bring the stroller WITH the infant carrier? Or is he ok to sit in it without the carrier, forward facing? FWIW he sits independently/tripods for a few minutes before tiring out. Sorry if this is a stupid question, I never really thought about it until now.

I have been pushing LO in her regular stroller since she was at least 3 months.  She LOVES to look out and preferred the forward facing stroller over being in the snap and go with the infant carrier.  The 5pt harness makes it safe to put them in the stroller.

We started putting Ethan in the stroller without the carrier as soon as he could sit propped up. Our stroller has a 5 point harness, so there's no chance of him falling out or falling over. He is really way less fussy facing out, than when he is in the carrier.

I started this at 2 months in both my Chicco and my jogging stroller. He loved facing forward and it was much cooler for him. I used both strollers in the reclined  position and I roll a receiving blanket and position it above his head sometimes if there's a chance he will fall asleep. Have fun!

Thanks for all the input! I think we'll bring the stroller without the carrier. Seems like unnecessary bulk.

I just did this exact thing today. I wore DS in my moby, then he seemed sleepy so I put him in the stroller and he took a nap!
