Slowly getting there!  We are set on the name Gianna, which feels great!  

 Now onto the middle name!  Kay is DH grandmothers name (her real name is actually Katherine but we all call her Kay) and Mary is my grandmothers name.  We are really leaning on MaryKay as the middle name...but I can't get the middle name Elise out of my mind.  I love Elise as a middle name, it just seems so feminine to me (which I love).

I think it doesn't flow with two names smooshed together.  Either Gianna Kay or Ginna Elise

I like Elise by itself, but im all for using a family name too, Cruz is such a cute name but why not save it if you ever have a son? I love cruz as a FN but DH wont go for it.

I agree!  I love my maiden name, i almost cried when i had to give it up!  I do love it as a first name for a boy later, but worried it would sound so funny to me!  i do think i'm going to end up saving it for a middle name for our next child...

Also, are you planning on using two capital letters in the middle name? Two middle names is one thing, but I think that using two capital letters looks very odd. You could even use a hyphen for something like Mary-Kay, which was my vote.

This. It looks like you wrote it wrong when they're smashed together with two capital letters.

I thought of make-up when I saw MaryKay.  And I'm not a fan of the smooshing together. 

Also, are you opposed to just using Katherine instead of Kay?  Because I think Gianna Katherine is lovely if you want to honor his grandmother.  But I also like Gianna Elise and Gianna Cruz.
