A little early but Im thinking already.

What are you going to do for your LO's first birthday? Is it going to be a huge extravagant celebration more for the family and friends than your LO or will it be close and intimate? I am thinking probably at my house, but I would like to have a nice professional cake. Just a special one that will always be remembered. I could make one, but I would probably spend as much redoing the cake, as I would purchasing one.

hmm.. idk what were going to do yet. my MIL makes amazing cakes. they look better than store bought, so she's doing the twins cake. im not sure the theme yet because i dont know what they are really into yet, ya know? but i do plan on keeping it in the family with a few of the close baby friends that they have. our family is huge anyway, so my house will be full in seconds with just family.

not too early, i'm thinking, as well!  not planning, just kinda day dreaming about the occasion!  thinking an intimate barbecue at our house, badmitton in the backyard, baby pool for the kids, and a homemade cake with ice-cream!

I think we will do it at home. I'm not sure who will be invited yet.  The guest will include family and friends though.  I can't wait to start planning!  I really am going to try to keep it simple though.  We will see how that works out.

I have thought about it a little bit in the back of my mind.  Our family lives 700 miles away and not sure if I'd really want to throw him a party with just our friends since most of them dont have kids.  hmmfft.  That makes it no fun.

 

I am probably going to do a cupcake for DS with a cute topper of some sort.  Take pictures. Who knows.
