OMG, how un-EF can you get?!

I am a photographer and use a specific album for my proofs.  I order it from Amazon because it's the cheapest place I can find it, and I can buy several at a time, and they qualify for free shipping.

Last week I ordered 10 of the albums to last me through the rest of the season.  Friday I got the shipping confirmations.  TEN shipping confirmations with TEN separate tracking numbers.  If I understand this correctly, they are shipping all ten albums in separate boxes, FROM the same warehouse, TO the same address, all shipped the same day and to be delivered the same day!!

I called and was told, "I'm sorry, the items have already left our warehouse by the time you get the email confirmation of the shipment and tracking number."

How insane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow.  And I bet each one is going to be in a huge box w/ a bunch of styrofoam peanuts...

I work there and can tell you that there is a reason for all of that.  I agree, not always the most EF results.  Luckily as a stock holder, it makes me feel good to know there there is still lots of room for improvement!

Oh man!  That's like a box I just got from BRU.  IT was HUGE, and when I opened it, it was filled with all those plastic bags full of air to "cushion" the item.  Well, the only thing in the box was a roller shade for my car!  The box was easily 3 ft x 2ft.  Ridiculous!
