Lightweight/Umbrella stroller suggestions?

We'll be taking a road trip in June and won't be able to fit our stuff AND our beast of a chicco stroller in our car so I'm looking for a Lightweight stroller for as cheap as possible but also not the cheapest one. DD will be about 6-7 months then but I still want a 5 point harness because she already lunges forward and I can just imagine it'll get worse the stronger she gets. Also good thing if it folds as small as possible. We drive a 4 door civic, so not the hugest amount of trunk space.

Anyone have/seen/used The First Years Jet? She should be able to handle not being so far reclined by then right? She's doing great with sitting and just tripodded for a few minutes today for the first time. I'd rather not have to carry her around all week when we go on the trip, if you know what I mean :P

  • I've been looking into this same thing but the only ones I can find are for normal height people, so if anyone in the 6' tall range has a lightweight/umbrella stroller that they can use without killing their back, I'd love to hear from you.

  • We have the Zooper Twist. I love it. DH likes it, too, and he's 6' exactly.

It reclines almost to 180 degrees.

It folds well, especially if you don't use the armrest (it's removable). A bit bigger than standard umbrella, because of the canopy. And the canopy is awesome.
