Bless your heart.  I'm pro cart cover.  To me it says "Not only am I better than you, but my kid is too".  I think it's important that people recognize that.

There has to be a govt. funded study about the importance of people with cart covers somewhere.   If not, I will be applying for a grant post haste.

Well... The carts don't bother me so much, but I use one for hi chairs at restaurants. I worked at Chili's for 2 years and I don't think I EVER saw those things being properly scrubbed down. I figure if touching them grosses me out, I shouldn't put my baby on top of all that gunk. So... With that said, I guess maybe the shopping carts don't bother me since they don't have crusted on food dwelling in them. I'm totally not a snob either. More like the opposite. There's my 2 cents!
