BF'ers- come in!

Have you dieted? Nothing extreme, but cut back some calories?

I am trying to find some kind of regime for losing a few pounds, more along the lines of healthy eating. Since R was born, I shove my face with whatever comes in my path... Even things I don't fancy.
Are there any good websites or advice?

Re: BF'ers- come in!

  • I have not dieted.  I was one of the lucky few that just lost the baby weight from breastfeeding.  But, I would love to lose more weight and have thought about joining Weight Watchers.  I've heard they have a great program for BF'ing mothers.

  • I've heard that a good philosophy is to make sure you're eating healthy fats so that your BM will draw from your fat reserve.

  • I have cut back and excercised regularly without any issue with my supply. I do make sure I eat frequently and drink lots of water. According to kellymom, you should not consume less than 1500 calories per day.

But can you safely eliminate calories? BTW, I love the new siggy pic :)
  • I have no advice or answers, but I'll be stalking this post for them.  Big Smile

  • I'm doing Weight Watchers and I love it! I'm in my 9th week and have lost 17 pounds. My supply never changed, not sure if it matters that I EP.
