I'm the same way about August/Augustus and Augusta. I love the name for a boy but really dislike the feminine version. Interestingly, my DH is the complete opposite. I think in general I usually like the male version of the name better.
I don't really like Alexandra, but I do like Aleksander.
I like Michael, but cannot stand Michaela. I like Robert, but I don't really care for Roberta.
I personally love a lot of them (not all of these):
August / Augustus ? Augusta Henry ? Henrietta Francis ? Frances / Francesca Rowan ? Rowena Wilhelm ? Wilhelmina / Wilemina Phillip ? Phillipa Fionn ? Fiona / Ffion Louis ? Louisa Oliver ? Olivia (prefer Olive) Theodore ? Theodora (NMS) Julian ? Juliana ...
ETA: Agree with pp ? love Rhys for a boy, HATE Reese on a girl. But that is a different issue imo, because historically Reese is not a girl name. It is not a feminine form. It is just an Anglicized spelling of a boy name that some people are using on girls.
